The Montessori Language curriculum seamlessly matches with current research about children and reading, the science of reading. That said, a close examination of classroom practices is always beneficial to be sure we are best serving our students.

The interrelated components of a strong language curriculum are far reaching. The workshop will help you return to your classroom with a refined look at general classroom practices, and how you are presenting the language lessons and the many interrelated components.

The refresher will be discussion based, with topics including: Phonological and Phonemic awareness, making use of the Movable Alphabet and all those objects, foundations for reading comprehension, and supporting expressive language.
