St. Andrew’s Episcopal School (SAES—a Montessori school enrolling 49 children from 12 months through 6 years) is seeking an experienced Toddler Teacher, to take over an existing classroom on August 15, 2011. SAES is accredited by the Southwest Association of Episcopal Schools and is an Associate School Member of the American Montessori Society. Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, SAES is located in the Houston Heights but serves a broader area.

To strengthen these values, we seek candidates who have the following required and/or preferred qualifications:
• Associates’ degree in Early Childhood or related field, Bachelor’s degree preferred
• AMI or AMS Infant & Toddler or Early Childhood (3-6) Credential

Successful candidates have a clear understanding of Montessori philosophy, curriculum, implementation, and classroom management skills along with flexibility and a passion for teaching. Spanish or foreign language is a plus.
